Entry into Year 11
Applications for entry into Year 11 2027 will be open from Wednesday 17 June to Friday 24 July 2026 - during this time frame, you will be able to access the full application requirements on this page.
All applicants are required to submit an application as well as sit the Acer HAST (Higher Ability Selection Test).
Fort Street High together with eleven other schools coordinate the sitting of the Acer HAST on the same day (Saturday 8 August 2026).
When applying, applicants can list up to 3 schools as their preferences but need to sit the entrance test at the school that is their first preference.
